I know you all don't want to hear from me here, but . . .
Tonight I heard an ad on the radio for DMB. No mention of THS. Not even a "special guest" or "supporting artist" mention.
Just sayin'.

XO WD I saw an ad on TV about DMB's tour 2009, and it mentioned some other band who's name escapes me as the "special guest."

All I know is that for almost eighty bucks a ticket, Dave better be giving out happy endings to all in attendance.

I'd figure that since they're playing two nights in scenic Burgettstown, West Virginia, an hour or so out of Pittsburgh, they'd at least get a mention on the local radio ads.

If I made Appetite For Destruction I would take the rest of my life off work. Uh, aren't you doing that anyway? I just saw this an laughed out loud. As it goes, I actually am doing my very best to swerve the real world.

I can't believe I, a college student, paid fifty three dollars for a lawn ticket to this show. FIFTY THREE DOLLARS FOR A SPACE THAT MAKES IT PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO ACTUALLY SEE THE BAND. This is really distressing. And I hate Dave Matthews. I can't believe I'm supporting this. But I couldn't pass up the chance to see THS. Grr.

XO WD Yeah, I'm planning to skip those shows. Hoping for a Hold Steady/Lucero fall tour. And hopefully no more shows at that Carnegie Library either.
