I put this in another thread, where it will doubtless attract no attention. But for all your information, the Hold Steady are on of the acts who will be appearing on Jools Holland's New Year's Hootenanny, which is being recorded next week. All official: confirmed from all concerned camps.

Staying in with the family watching Jools every year. And I wouldn't change it for the world. And we might watch Being John Malkovich, as my parents are yet to see it. My mum's watching 6th Sense, and I have been banned from the room because I am expected to spoil it

It will most probably be on youtube with in the week afterwords. And unless there is BBC America, I doubt that you'll get it.

I reckon the boys will get 3 songs. The rest of the acts (except for Lily Allen, Martha & the Vandellas and Dizzee are pretty unknown, so Hold Steady may get some decent air time) They are pretty much forced to play Stay Positive. And I hope they will whip out a classic, par example Charlemange in Sweatpants.

I can't remember. But I think it's Sequestered plus one. Look out for tuxedos, though, rock fans.
