I've been in bed today feeling pretty under the weather. I've been pounding orange juice in preparation for tomorrow. IT'S ON. twitter.com/obviate for updates tomorrow night.

Okay, I'm gonna sleep a bit then head downtown. Get an early start on my day. I'll have limited internet access for the next couple of days, so if you need me, get a hold of me on my cell. If you don't have it, use this board to get it. Many of the people here have it already. I'm not too keen about posting it on a public forum.
I'm ready to rage and meet those who I haven't yet.
Stay positive everyone and see you tonight!

I have one extra waiting for me at will call tonight, if anybody needs a ticket. I'll sell it for face value, of course, which is 40 bucks with all the various fees and other BS. PM me if you want the ticket and we'll figure out how to meet up before the show. Ditto.

Temperatures are BRUTAL today. -8 right now, a low of -12 tonight and that doesnt account for the wind chill.
From Weather.com:
WIND CHILLS OF 20 BELOW TO 30 BELOW ARE POSSIBLE BUT ARE EXPECTED TO FALL BACK TO 25 BELOW TO 40 BELOW TONIGHT. SOME IMPROVEMENTS ARE POSSIBLE FRIDAY AFTERNOON AS AIR TEMPERATURES BEGIN TO WARM INTO THE POSITIVE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE ZERO.
Dress warmly. Stay safe.

Sad news guys. I've called EVERYWHERE from Milwaukee to the farthest of far suburbs and no one sells confetti sticks. I must of lucked out in Minneapolis. So I am debating scratching the whole idea or getting paper confetti and bagging it up for me and a few others. Suggestions?

I'd definitely go for paper confetti. I'm thinking of bringing a couple bags as well.

Six hours until doors!
I can't find long underwear anywhere but I did find some leggings that will hopefully do the trick. I'll see y'all outside; I'll be the one with the runny nose.

6 hours until the doors open. Flight from STL leaving on time. I may stop by real quick walking to the hotel. See you guys in a few hours. Wish everyone was going to be there.

When I left Minneapolis yesterday it was our coldest day in five years. News here says it is the coldest day in Chicago in ten years. I'm loving this shit. Eyeballs freezing over if you don't blink enough, going for a walk in the morning and being too cold to be tired. The great cold winter days in the midwest are like my favorite drug ever.
