Yeah, I'm shit scared but I think they are amazing. Only scared when I'm in open water, though, really. For some reason, I'm so hardcore afraid of sharks that I literally cross my legs on my seat if a shark comes on tv. Just in case, you know, there's a shark under the sofa... Ewwwwww sharks!

I'm much, much worse with spiders. If something comes on tv with spiders, I don't manage to watch the rest of whatever it was because I spend the rest of the time staring at the walls in case one is running at me. *shudder* Maybe I should get a tattoo of a spider fighting a shark, or a shark-spider hybrid.

Sharks and crocs are my biggest fears! And you live in Australia, isn't it a big problem there? Well depending on where, I assume.

Cool tattoos you lot. I love sharks - lifelong ambition to cage dive.
Want a stay positive logo tattoo - have several, including a Bonham 3 circles design (which is also my business logo) - when is enough tattoos enough though (5 so far)!?

Stringer - sorry only just got your post.
Got most of mine at Skin and Ink (the old shop). But......... if / when I get another it would have to be with a guy called Chris Govier (I used to go to him at Skin and Ink). He's got his own place above the Kingsway - he's superb. Apparently he's one of the top portrait tattooists in Europe (not that portraits are my thing) and he has no ink himself!
My wife isn't keen on me getting more (I have her name and the kids' names among mine)......we'll see!

Sounds good mate. Got my first at Skin and ink. Just had my new one with Kyle who used to be at Skin and Ink. I think I've seen the one above Kingsway.. Might have to check it out!

Those are even more awesome because they are shared between friends.
Last night we saw Gaslight Anthem. Frank Turner, the first opener, a charming British man with a guitar, chatted up the crowd about his love for MPLS music. He said he had a THS tattoo, but didn't want to waste his set time "flashing various body parts at the people of MPLS." Missy and I stopped at the merch table and asked what tattoo he had. He turned around and lifted his shirt. He has "Damn right I'll rise again" scratched into his lower back. It was very pretty, and kind of different to see that tattoo on a man. Missy and I decided we like him.
