What are the odds on the coronavirus putting paid to all our well made plans?! Don't even!! I will struggle to have any perspective if something comes out about "non-essential travel"!!

I can't think of anything more essential than going to see The Hold Steady...I'll put an argument against anyone who says otherwise. It's essential travel. Now if only the Bush hall tickets would come I could stop freaking out.

What are the odds on the coronavirus putting paid to all our well made plans?! This weekend won't be a problem. Summer festivals though.... I trade at many festivals in the summer and there's a massive concern from traders, as none of us have insurance to cover the loss of pitch fees (which sometimes run into many thousands of pounds) and loss of income. This weekend, I'm going to forget my worries and party like it's the end of the world.

Realistically I can't see Camden Electric Ballroom being classed as a large gathering! It's almost impossible that things will have gone downhill so badly by the weekend, this is Britain, we muddle through!

I heard Gideon saw you in Denver. He said you're contagious.

If it's as windy this weekend as it has been for the last month or so I'm more worried about my flight than Coronavirus!

Just checked my tickets for Saturday. I paid for a merch package but I just seem to have two tickets and no voucher with which to redeem merch? Any ideas? my receipt confirms that I have paid for a package Thx If I remember correctly, Moshpit Josh will have a list of names at the merch boot. Last year you could just walk up there, tell him your name, and you got your package. Same thing in Brooklyn in December. If you don't hear otherwise, I think you can assume that's the rig. Thanks muzzle, that's much more help than See Tickets who replied as below... Hello, Thank you for contacting SEE tickets. You will be able to collect the merchandise from the venue on the day of the event. Kind regards,

This may be a silly question, but i'll ask it anyway as I've not been to a weekend's worth of shows before. I've received my tickets to the Fri and Sat London shows, but they have 'Saturday 7th March / Two Day Season Ticket' printed on the front with no mention of the Friday... I'm coming over from Australia for the shows and was hoping to take a different mate to each of the different nights (I got 2x season tickets). Can anyone shed any light on the process - do I just show and keep these tickets on the Friday for re-use on the Saturday? Cheers! Yes, just show and reuse!! Although the printing on the tickets last year was a little clearer.

Got this from SEE Tickets Thank you for contacting SEE Tickets, I can confirm that your ticket will be exchanged for a two day wristband on the first day. The venue is aware of this and you will be granted entry on both days. This may be a silly question, but i'll ask it anyway as I've not been to a weekend's worth of shows before. It's the little things that prey on your mind. Like why does my 2day ticket Have Saturdays date on it? Why not Friday then 2 day ticket covers Friday/Saturday. Just seems like there's no need to cast doubt. Sure it will be fine (and Sunday ticket will get here before I leave on Friday morning 🤞)

Thanks for that, I just landed from Aus today and if this is the case then it’s going to complicate things as I’m taking a different friend each night!

If you tuck a plastic bag inside the wristband and pull it will come off whole and can be slipped onto another wrist. Not ideal, but it works.

Looks like there are club nights on both nights at the EB, which means early starts again. A bit of a shame.

Hey Folks! I’m a big Hold Steady fan currently living in the Czech Republic. I’ve been to a shows in the US before but the Saturday Camden show is going to be my first time seeing the band in Europe and my first time going solo. I’m on an English teacher’s budget so I’ve been scouting Couchsurfing and nearby hostels for cheap accommodations - I’ve reserved a bed at the Smart Camden Inn Hostel (£22 a night and only a third of a mile from the venue). I’m waiting to see if a place comes through on Couchsurfing but wanted to share in case anyone is looking to go the hostel route too - looking forward to a massive night! Last year I stayed on Generator but it was a bit more expensive than that I think. It's great for a hostel, though. Are you taking the 10:30am flight from Prague on Saturday? That's my flight

Who’s going to the pub quiz on Sunday then? Excited to find out what the coming surprises for the weekend are too.
