Guess who will be making a surprise appearance at this show? Kevin Seconds opening would be about as kool as kool could be. Somebody close to the band needs to make this happen. Unless it's already happening. Or something. Watching airfares...

Excellent! I will see you there! And will Mrs. Ramone be joining you? Not this time. But she did graciously give me the hall pass. And I'll be with a few friends from my NorCal days; first shows for them. Sure to be a massive night; looking forward to seeing you again.

That place should host more shows (maybe it does now; I've been gone for a good bit). Saw Son Volt there on the Trace tour, which gives me fond memories of the Press Club.

I saw that Son Volt show also. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll recognize you from past shows. Did you go to many Jackpot shows? Go National?

Hello everyone! I'm a new-ish fan of THS, and the Harlow's show will be my first (VERY excited). I've lived in Sacramento for about a year, and thought I'd give my recommendations on food/drink in the area...
Tres Hermanas - VERY GOOD Mexican food, on K Street between 24th and 25th.
Sanad's - Tasty Mediterranean (Turkish/Greek) food, on K Street between 23rd and 24th.
Jack's Urban Eats - Sandwiches and Salads, comfort food, and cheap. On the corner of Capitol (1 block south of L) and 20th.
There are several spots to eat right on the same block as Harlow's, but the three above are my favorites that are within walking distance.
As for bars, I haven't really been to many since I've lived here (newborns will change your priorities that way), but here's what I can recommend:
The Distillery - If you want a place that's unpretentious, has relatively cheap booze and would most likely have plenty of room, try the Distillery on L St, between 21st and 22nd. It's slightly divey (I say that with extreme affection for dives), and they also serve good, greasy bar food there.
The Golden Bear - Never been inside, looks like a cool place though, and they have outdoor seating in the front. K Street, between 22nd and 23rd.
Rubicon Brewing Company - Good local brew-pub...can get a little crowded, but might be accessible on a Wednesday night. Capitol Ave between 20th and 21st.
I'LL SEE YOU ALL AT THE SHOW!!!

There are lots of good dive bars in Downtown Sacramento. Round Corner, Press Club, Zebra Club, Old Tavern, Pinecove, Monte Carlo. The burgers at Nationwide are to die for. Hotdogs at Capital Dog. Pizza at Uncle Vito's or Chicago Fire which is two and a half blocks west of Harlows is where im going to do my thing.

It's 2,545 miles from my house to Harlow's. There will be epic pre- and post-game.

I gotta strongly recomend Chicago fire. It's two blocks from Harlows and they have beer on tap and thick and thin crust chicago style pizza that will blow your fuckin mind.
