I'll organise address swaps, life swaps, swap shops and lamb chops. You guys just have to make a Mix CD and send your address to me in PM so you can receive in-kind a disc of potential new favourite songs.
You have all of February to state your interest.

Way to take up the mantle of this fine U.S tradition! Hopefully you will get a great turn out. Everyone should be aware going in that it is possible that they will be required to send their disc internationally.
I have a few great Mix CDs from previous exchanges and am looking forward to adding another to the collection. I'm already thinking of what songs/theme I'm going to go with for the disc I will mix.

I'd love to do this. Happy to send internationally aswell.
Does anyone have any good mix CD advice? Do you feel like the overall selection is more important, or a cohesive running order? Do you choose themes? I'm going to overthink this for sure. In a good way.

OK. Come Monday you will be issued with your assignments. I will be mixing peeps with peeps and sending out yer details to each other. However, I feel like adding a little flavour to proceedings so here's a thing...
There's prizes to be had.
Once in receipt of your donors CD you should post their track list in this thread. If there's a theme, some choice artwork or a clever structure to your disc point it out. But the thing we really want to know is how well the tracks played with you. Did you dig it? All of it? Some of it? Do you have a hot new band you need to rush out and buy their back catalogue or have you only now truly seen the genius of Geddy Lee?
The highest commendation will be rewarded. The form of that reward will be revealed in the fullness of time. How a winner is chosen will be by Mob Rule (or a voting system.. we'll see)
It's all to play for. The clock is ticking.

The assignments are handed out! You have all been given a recipient to make a mix for. It has been seen to that there are no straight swaps. So identities can be secret when mixing. No one knows who is making what for who... Enjoy.
