Well I'll be damned if that wasn't the perfect CD to spin all Easter weekend while the sun came out for the first time this year.

I'll post a bit more about the things that grabbed me once I've committed artists/song titles to my brain a bit better.

My in person delivery fell through as my recipient wasn't able to make any shows on tour, and I forgot to mail while I was there because I'm an ass. Going across the pond today, hopefully it'll be there within the week.

This is my mix from tbob. I've been listening to it a lot around the house. It's been unexpected and very enjoyable. The idea of the mix is people talking to each other. The title is "the Eternal Dialog: Missives from the South Welsh Mountains."

Wow! SFA, The Wildhearts, MSP, HMHB, Mozza, Black Grape. I feel like maybe TBob and I were roomies in College and have blacked it out. I love every one of those bands with a passion.

I haven't received it yet but when I sent mine in the other direction I was told it would take a week but I believe it took nearer to a fortnight to reach its destination.

But we seem to have only scored a 50% delivery rate so far...

Shall we put the 1st of May down as a closing of the poles?

So far I see Rattlesnake Gospel, Chinaski, Lauren Jean, Orzlec, Citrus and myself all received mixes.

That means Toastie, TBob, Bloody Stereos, Big On The Inside, Camie and Kicking it with Kevin did not. Either the postal service ain't what it ever was or we've got some gaps in our data.

It just arrived!

Can't wait to sit down and listen to it. I'll be consumed by the General Election tomorrow but I will endeavour to play my favourite moments on my radio show on Friday then post my thoughts on here soon after. Cheers Mr. Gospel!

I chose to get mine via spotify... so I have mine... Sorry... have been super busy.

I am working on getting CDs to get mine sent out.. the mix is done, just have no way of sending it out. I have been in contact with who is receiving from me.. and there will be bonus music and other goodies in the package that I am sending over when I can pry some blanks from a sibling or actually have to (GASP) go buy some.

Work and adult responsibility sucks.
