"Slumdog Millionaire", great flick directed by Danny Boyle.
Even features the ubiquitous song "Paper Planes" by MIA, which is perfectly placed.

Last movie I watched was Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. Not sure I liked it as well as Snatch, which I've seen several times, and it was so similar. Still damn enjoyable, though.

I believe that Guy Richie is the most overrated director ever. His films are all too samey.

Talledega Nights was alright.
Shake and Bake!
John C Reilly is too awsume. He was cast to be Champ in Anchorman, but had another film.
Ferrell, Rudd, Carell, and Reilly That would have been a godly cast.

I just got a copy of Straight to Hell with Joe Strummer and Sy Richardson. I saw it playing at a THS show at First Ave on mute, and it looked really interesting. I thought it was excellent, but i could see some people not liking it. Also, I'm getting Opening Night and Breaking Away for christmas. I haven't seen either of them, but I just had to get them.

Sex me? Robert Downey Jr playing Sherlock? I was unaware. RDJ playing a piece of poo = worth my movie bucks. Ironman > Dark Knight. I'll fight you on it.
Non Australians, attempt to get your hands on "Black Water" = "Jaws" but made of crocodiles. Hot.

But Dark Knight had Gary Oldman in it, who was excellent. And Aaron Eckhart was incredibley underrated in that film, he was really great as Two Face. But it makes me remember just how bad TLJ was...

i cant really even compare iron man and the dark knight, they are going for completely different things. Iron Man was an awesome fun superhero movie, and the dark knight was just something totally different, it was like Heat with batman and the joker.

Very true. I would allow kids to watch Ironman, whilst forbid them to see TDK

What is Milk? Can I take my kids? Is there a talking cow? All the good movies seem to have talking animals. A talking cow would be cool.

Sean Penn? Awesome. Saw him in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Last night I watched Animal House again. Now that is a superlative documentary on american college life.

Bible, I am assuming you're being sarcastic, but since I don't know you: there is no talking cow in Milk. It's about Harvey Milk, the San Francisco city organizer that actually suggested that queers should back queer candidates instead of being satisfied being the red headed step child of the Democratic Party. He started speeches with "My name is Harvey Milk and I want to recruit you!" He and Mayor Moscone were killed by a co-worker the same week that the people in Jonestown were killed. The movie is really well done. If you're kids still like movies with talking cows, this probably isn't the movie for them.
