They probably had a Promo stacked to the shelf by someone who didn't know what they were doing. But the track list thing is odd. Have they got the case mixed up?
I knew a guy who got major props from all of his buddies for coming home with a copy of St Anger from the local supermarket six weeks early. He warned all of them off before it had leaked or anything. He refers to the album to this day as The Metallican't

I think so, if it is SP, just bring one of your other copies with you and tell them why you bought this one.

I have to think about this overnight, cause if it is a misprint it may be a collectors item someday...unopened.

My guess is that it is the Stay Positive CD, since that is what it says on the label and the UPC label. This might be the version without the extra 3 songs.

What does the back look like? Any copyright stampings saying that there's something in dvd format in there?
This is kinda exciting.

Opened it up and it is indeed the cover and the liner from A Positive Rage. There is a whole booklet with a write up from Carig and pictures. however the CD inside is Stay Positive. I bet someone at Vagrant fucked up.

Observer (I think it was - could have been the Times) review section yesterday had a 'play list' type article and one of the tracks was Barfruit Blues from the new live CD. It was described as a bog standard rocker transformed into something special live by Franz's keyboards.

CF: “It ended up being a fantastic suburban blow out with band and audience on the floor, Frisbee and tailgating in the adjoining parking lot, and everyone singing along to every song…. It reminded me of the hardcore shows I loved as a kid, everyone sweating and screaming together in a rented hall. And drinking in the parking lot, of course."
I was at this show! It was the night before the official Boys & Girls tour kicked off, and definitely one of the best shows I've ever been to. When I first heard about this doc, I was hoping that night would get some mention.

So OMM reviewed it. Only gave about 100 words but still they were nice.
What was the up shot of the Best Buy story?
If any UK folk haven't yet pre ordered it's £8.99 from HMV Online.

So i got an advanced copy (of the cd)!!!!!!! ( don't worry, I'm still buying a hard copy.) And its awesome! Craig and Co have never sounded better. "First Night" in pariticular gives me goose bumps. Craig riffs on how he road tripped to Chicago in his youth, and how one night, Chicago seemed tired, but it hasn't been tired one night since lol. Only complaint after going through the majority of the songs is i wish i could hear more singalongs by the audience.
Also, I wanna say, it makes me feel proud as a Chicagoan that they decided to do their live album here!
