Who was the guy that came on stage to sing Stay Positive? Is he in another band or just a friend of the band? He was at the merch table...
Anyone lined up or will be lining up for day of show tickets? I think I am going to line up for a Saturday ticket since nobody seems to be selling that day.

I bought tickets for Saturday on StubHub a couple weeks ago. According to the website they have 11 still. Has anyone used StubHub before? I've heard horror stories. I'm driving eight hours, it'd suck if they weren't legit.

I bought tickets for Saturday on StubHub a couple weeks ago. According to the website they have 11 still. Has anyone used StubHub before? I've heard horror stories. I'm driving eight hours, it'd suck if they weren't legit. I've used Stubhub tons of times, only had an issue one time, and Stubhub took care of it right away. If you sell fraudulent/counterfeit/duplicate tickets, Stubhub will take back the money from the sale plus charge a fee (I think 10%), so there's no incentive to doing it on there. Not like Craigslist or eBay that are a little bit more Wild West-esque.
To be safe, take a Stubhub customer support number, and if you do have an issue (again, it's unlikely you will), you can call them and they will work on getting you a replacement ticket ASAP. I had my issue during a sporting event, usher told me the tickets had already been scanned when I went to go in, I called Stubhub and they sent me tickets via my phone for the same section. From what I've found, they have a pretty good relationship with most venues/ticket sellers to ensure stuff like this doesn't happen. So while the fees may be annoying, I assume this type of thing is where they go to.
Enjoy the show!

It's all happening! Setlist is insane. Questlove tomorrow after show? Nuts. We're only making Saturday, which is killing me, but seeing the leak about the opener that night has revived me!
We were going to take the train, but that seems hella expensive. Looks like I'm driving. Many years ago, I drove into NYC for a run of GD shows. I swore I'd never do it again. Wish me luck.
I'll try to post here when we arrive and look for some meetups. Almost feels surreal...

With no inside knowledge and just a bunch of wishful thinking, I'm hoping selfishly the Saturday night final show is a send off and a half. I'm really hoping for 1 or 2 real deep cuts, something like 212 Margarita or Teenage Liberation (never played live to my knowledge). Again, wishful thinking I know.

Yes! While night two didn't have any rarities, it was a fantastic set and the energy was off the hook. I can't imagine a better crowd, but the next two nights should be unbelievable. So happy I can be here.

Getting on the road shortly, driving down from the Albany area. Never met anybody here before, but looking forward to it-- if you see a really big white dude in a black T-shirt that says "Science" on it, that's most likely me. Nobody burn down the venue before the show, or anything like that.

Oh, and how is everybody enjoying Brooklyn? Where's the best bar you've been to? Tell us! My wife and I found Williamsburg surprisingly quiet Thurs night. Had a nice walk around and passed Galen on the street. Looked like he was with friends, didn't wanna bother him. We had a few beers at The Gibson, nice little locals bar, nothing fancy but some local micro brews on tap and cheap whiskey. Grabbed a few slices at Joe's, great pizza. Show was great as usual. Fantastic energy from the crowd and the band, Franz in particular looked to be having a blast. Was a bit disappointed to not get any crazy B-sides since night one got Midnight Hauler but it's a small nitpick. It was great to hear the album out of order, kept the suspense alive. And that was the best live version of Citrus I've ever heard.

Following the sets and stories has gotten me both really excited about this band again and really bummed I'm not there.
I do, however, hope they've got some Franz-ified Teeth Dreams stuff on deck for tonight. I'll be a little disappointed if the only thing (see what I did there) from this era that comes out is IHTHTDFY.

Hornets! How a Resurrection Really Feels Killer Parties American Music (Violent Femmes Cover) "Resurrection" was before the break, actually, right after "Southtown." It was a very pleasant surprise, because I was expecting "Southtown" to end the set. And "Stay Positive" was in the encore, just before "Killer Parties." "American Music" also had the singer from the So So Glos. Great evening, will probably write something up about it later, but right now I'm completely wiped out, having gotten up early to drive back up to Schenectady in time to coach my daughter's 3rd-grade basketball game this afternoon. If the rumor that the Saturday opener is Lifter Puller turns out to be true, I'm intensely jealous of folks who could stay for that...
