Can anyone tell me what the deal with 'O2 presale' is? I'm guessing if you're with O2 you can get tickets before the rest of us. I'm sure there'd be plenty left over though. I'll be going to KOKO at least.

Hmm. I'm giffgaff. That's the O2 network.. Maybe worth a punt. But as you say, overlap of O2 customers and THS fans probably leaves room for the rest of us.

The dates above have changed slightly see theholdsteady.net/shows/Shame really because Newcastle followed by Glasgow day after was looking good until it changed! Now just Glasgow for me.

The worst fucking thing about the whole 'O2 presale' thing is, which network do you reckon all the touts will have a phone on? Scumbags.

Sorry, that's not necessarily relevant to this presale, but the whole notion of O2 getting presales winds me up. When Fleetwood Mac toured the UK last year, the touts snapped up all they could and then were charging small fortunes for the tickets. Same with Kate Bush - up to £1,000 a ticket (in the worst cases). I liked to think that THS managed to duck out of that, but we already saw what prices people were charging for Bush Hall. Touting should be fully illegal. The Arctic Monkeys played up here the other night, and there were touts at Finsbury Park openly touting, and there were coppers standing right beside them. It ain't right.

With a bit of interest from venues & ticket sellers the touting problem could be easily sorted, they lack the will though. Got Paris tickets, see what this morning brings for the London ones!

I tried to get tickets for my wife and her family to see Dolly Parton in Aberdeen. Never got close to getting any, and two weeks before the concert, there are still loads left on sites such as Viagogo, at a minimum of £170 a pop. I really hope she ends up playing to swathes of empty seats as people refuse to pay such ridiculous prices.

Tickets for the Koko show now seem to go on sale at 10am rather than 9am for the other UK shows. Anyone heard whether there's a 9am pre-sale?

I would love to go to a few of the UK shows, but it seems like Cologne is the best fit this time around. Going down there with a group of norwegians.

Manchester is listed as not available, any ideas? Surely not sold out yet?

I really wish they'd play a different venue in Manchester. And that it wasn't a work night again. Went to see DBT at The Ritz. It's a really really good venue now, just a shame about our THS experience of it. Saw Jason Isbell at Gorilla, was absolutely seminal. Great venue. Would just like to see them tear somewhere atmospheric up but appreciate the other venues are probably too big or small. The Albert Hall would be ace but it's a bit big. Mind you, Academy 2 will sell out probably and that's about 800 so it's not unimaginable they could do it.

There's some truly great new places in Manchester, Gorilla is a favourite and though I've not been to the Albert Hall since it reopened I've heard good things. It's maybe just not as well known to promoters yet. Maybe in a year or two there'll be more going on there :-)

Just bought my tickets for Sheffield =D Me too! I'm moving to Sheffield in a few months so it came together perfectly. Can't wait. I was gutted I couldn't make it to any of the first round of shows. I was told on the phone that there won't be any disabled seating on the night but I'm hoping it's just that they haven't worked out the details for it so far in advance. From memory City Hall has decent access I just hope we can get my girlfriend somewhere suitable to enjoy it from. Anyway, I can forget about all that for now, this'll be my first THS show. Very very exciting.

Very very exciting. That's shocking! My husband is mobility impaired and we've experienced first hand the total lack of understanding at some venues. (Bush Hall offered him a seat in front of the stage - because that would have gone down well with those Scene members wanting to dance their way through the set. At another venue an able bodied lady asked a lad in the disabled area to "sit down if your that disabled" so she could see better!!!)I'd definitely make sure there's something in place for when you go - if all else fails contact Attitude is Everything, they look at improving gig experiences for deaf and disabled fans - they have a mystery shopper section which your girlfriend might be able to help with. Thankfully, Koko in London is accredited by AiE so I'm hoping my husband might be able to enjoy this tour without people leaning over him to take photos etc like last time!

Touting tout touters. Also my tickets for Bush Hall would have gone to waste if this were the case... Damn straight. And I appreciated that very much. You're right it's tricky to police.
