I'm defo going to say hello this time round, I was trashed before the Manchester gig so thought it best to leap around anonymously. As for exam advice, go to the gig . If you know your shit you'll be fine, if you don't it'll make no difference. Perfect logic.

After much soul searching & checking of bank balances a trip over to the UK is out for me this time. I have my ticket for the 8th May in Dublin so its not a total blank.

I was just rejected from the LSE, so any incentive to work hard for my A-levels is gone xD
I fully intend to be in Leeds on the 19th of May

you know who should do support for this? johnny foreigner! i've said it before... totally! do you know who, if anyone, has any sway over who plays these uk dates? jf are free at the time and there's no doubt in my mind whatsoever that they'd be up for this.

Aren't THS playing with Counting Crows on the 19th May in Nottingham?
Will this lead to CC finding a new support band for that date, or will THS re-schedule the Leeds gig (plzplzplzplzplz)

don't moan about how far somewhere might be. look how far people travel in america to see a show. jus sayin', the scene has travelled more than leeds>cambridge.

Trains are weird. It's a longer journey from me to Cambridge than me to London (not distance wise, but time wise), but I can get there for cheaper despite having to go on 2 or 3 trains. Straaaange.
Anyway, I will only be going to Leeds, because of money. I do understand hostile_matt's feelings, because if you're a student or on a low income, it is very expensive to travel around the UK. I'd love to be able to do the Scene thing of running around to millions of gigs, but I need to pay my bills and buy groceries and all that!

pfft money. i don't know what that looks like. i have never got any due to too much music, merch and travelling about. that and, well, life. i am quite good at saving for things i want. that's how i manage THS excitement. if i wanna do something badly enough i can live without certain things and save the cash.
i do see you point about train expense. i don't have this issue due to railcard. i apologise. matt, when i get a car* i will come and get you and take you places to see the band. deal?
*imagine that! me with a car! allowed on the roads! scary.

I have never had money either. My paychecks for the next 12 months are already spent. I haven't bought anything I need for years. Being a student put me in a massive amount of debt. Still though, if she asks don't tell her that I'm living hand-to-mouth.

Hi guys,
For some reason I have only just heard about this show, I got all excited and then... tickets sold out. I kinda wanted to make it my mission to see the guys everytime they came around at least once.
If anyone has a spare they need to get rid of at face value I will be more than happy to take it.

What?! It's sold out!! Argh, fuck. I was waiting until I got my last pay cheque last week (until May, graargh) to get tickets!! I didn't think it would sell out, since the last few times I've bought tickets I got them just a couple of weeks in advance.
Shit.
