I got one today. Alas, there's no way I can go. I even plotted a trip to Olympia for the weekend, but I don't think that's gonna happen either.
Maybe I can txt my code to someone who needs one? Think that would work? It's me +1.

Are we confident someone else's code will work? And it's not going to be checked against a list of names (ala the Jack Daniels show)? Really want to go; really don't want to drive 3 hours and pay for a room for nada.
Big thanks to those offering up the codes though; I just want it to work. Still more than 24 hours to showtime, though. Maybe I'll still get the e-mail.

Signed up a long time ago and have not gotten an email or text about it. If anyone has an extra code please let me know!

according to the press release cited online, "The code actually clues people in on who The Hold Steady will be covering that night." hmmm... it also says DJ Lord at 9 p.m.if anyone's wondering about start times.
good luck to those still waiting on confirmation- stay positive and see you tomorrow night!!!

I got a text today too, and am unable to make the trip...let me know if anyone needs another one. By the way, the "clue" is pretty easy....
Edit: Code taken...good luck everyone!

I was lucky enough to get a code from the generous cre618 (thanks again!), but I am wondering if anyone who requested that their ticket be EMAILED ever got a confirmation? Seems that most everyone here who got a code were people that chose the text message option?

Just checking in - does everyone who wants to get in have a way to get in? I want to make sure no one here gets shut out.
My friend has a free +1, as do I, so if you're still trying to get in, please e-mail me and we can figure out when to meet up.

Hi all!
I'm new here (only heard about Hold Steady this year--yeah, you can see I'm kind of out of touch w/ music!)
Anyhow, I signed up but right now it's just me so I have a "ticket" for one (nice, non-creepy) person. My text said:
"Ur tix code is (code here) for THE HOLD STEADY @ Crocodile Cafe (2200 2nd Ave) tmrw nite, 8pm. Show this msg @ the door for you,+1 guest."
What time do you think would be good to show up in order to get in? I know the website now says "Sorry we have reached capacity. "
But I think I read earlier something about showing up early to make sure I could get in...
who else here is going? :-)

I'm heading north shortly, and will ultimately be catching up with my savior Miss Alabama Nobody (I was one of those e-mail sign-ups who never got a thing). Don't think there is an official pre-game plan yet, but I'm sure there will be drinking/eating somewhere.
See y'all there.

Had to leave early to catch a bus home (yeeeah public transit!) but had fun! Was a bit long between waiting in line, waiting for music, waiting for The Hold Steady, but good times. My feet are tired. Thank you Lee for being nice and allowing me to "attach" myself to your group so I didn't feel completely alone there. Why did none of my friends want to go? /sigh
and now, sweet, sweet bed. g'night.

I sooooooooo owe Ms. Alabama N. Dinner on me next P-town trip.
Pre-THS, I was a bit worried about the crowd; seemed like they were there more for the SoCo party than for the band. Crowd ultimately turned out pretty good.
Opened with DJs; nothing else from AKM. Only two from SS if memory serves (Multitude early and a smoking Hoodrat late).
Per the theme, 4 covers: a ZZ Top song, a Steve Earle song, History Lesson Part 2, and Your Time Is Gonna Come.
Not my favorite set list, but I thought the band sounded great. Lotsa fun, and much love to those I hung out with.

more of a casual to budding to not quite a fan crowd, i'd say... and the set list seemed to cater to that, not going especially 'deep,' but the covers were rare treats indeed and the new songs sounded good among the recent standards. though it was a fun night the energy felt a little diluted and didn't do the final show of the tour justice in my opinion. wrapping it up in Portland where the band and its connection to the audience tends to be really strong would've been a lot better; the fact that Craig skipped "so much joy" at the end says it all i think... instead the reminder that We Are All The Hold Steady came from the scene- thank you for that, and for reliably, delightfully, and honestly bringing the rage. you guys rock

i'm genuinely gutted that this wasn't my job for the night. maybe minus the adorable part. instead i was readingreading reading stupid textbooks and dicking about on twitter. this setlist sounds like fun. i like it when most people are djs and the covers come out to play. jealous of y'all.

Kinda miffed I didn't get my coupon code. Heard about the show via RSS and signed up maybe a day or two later. Don't know that I would have actually gone b/c haven't been feeling too well, but still would have liked the option. Didn't think of checking here for extras, either. Doy. The set list sounded pretty cool. So-so crowd or not, this is getting filed in my "regret" folder.
