The London footage was from Borderline and the huge room at the end looks like the 9:30.
Most People Are DJs is so good.

There's footage from all four London gigs in Feb 2007. The biggest US gigs that feature on the DVD are the Metro, Chicago, and First Ave. Other footage from LA, Houston, Austin. Doubtless more that I can't remember.

I HAD tickets for the Borderline. I gave them away to a board member as I couldn't go. This is great it's like getting to see what I missed.

Fucking hell, check out how lazy the journalism is!
"The Hold Steady clearly dig Springsteen, who clearly puts a lot into his live shows. Same goes for Craig Finn & Co. Springsteen's released a bunch of live albums and as you likely know, the Hold Steady are releasing their first, along with a live DVD, at the beginning of April."
formula for writing token Hold Steady copy:
snappy original content = springsteen + hold steady

I miss when Stereogum wasn't Pitchfork's bastard son.
I can't wait to watch that on a real DVD where I can pick apart the Chicago show frame by frame.

I'm so excited! Not sure what I'm excited for more, the DVD or the live album.

I'd rather listen to No Sleep Til Hammersmith, Folsom Prison or the bootleg of Jay Z at Glastonbury than watch pretty much any DVD I can think of. Except The Last Waltz.
