The Felice Brothers - The Felice Brothers What a cool band! The record is so interesting, and they're a great live act. Haven't seen anything really like them. Real backwoodsy.

Real backwoodsy. they are my favorite new discovery of 2008.....the cd is probably my third favorite release of the year......i'm sure you can guess the top two....you can really hear the Dylan/The Band influence on them in certain songs. they other thing is they seem to be really cool. i got to spend a little time talking with them after the two DBT shows i saw them open......

Did you go to the one they did with the DBT's at the Canopy Club in Urbana in February?

The Felice Brothers - The Felice Brothers I really want to love this band because they are right up my alley. I love music that makes me feel like I'm in a log cabin in upstate NY during the late 1800's but I just can't get over the Dylan vocals. Every time I listen to them I want to throw on Blonde on Blonde or Blood on the Tracks. Anyone else have the same issue?

well, we can change our partners this is a progressive dance but remember it was me who dragged you up to the sweaty floorI am so upset that their next Philly show is 21+ And now we're unrelated and rid of all the shit we hated, But I hate when I feel like this and I never hated you.I really dig the live album:

Waltz #2 (XO). Repeatedly. I think Needle in the Hay or Twilight will be next.
