aye, there should have been some kind of one-song-per-artist limit. you could easily fit the good stuff onto one disc. but hey, at least there's no estelle or duffy or the fucking kooks.

This made me LOL. For some reason I first read it as "You can almost hear all the beards growing."

Anyway have added to my wish list. I also enjoyed reading Laura Barton's article in The Guardian:

i saw a copy of this at my community radio station. the fact that i like most of the bands is competing with the fact that i hate most of their fans and the whole scene
