So I wouldn't be so silly as to make the bold claim, on this message board, that I'm the world's biggest Hold Steady fan. But sometimes it feels that way! Some of the greatest rock experiences of my life have been in the pit with some of you. (I used to live in the northeast, where I could see shows far more often than now, while living in Atlanta.)
I was looking forward to this show for a long time!
Wouldn't you know it, this morning I tested positive for the goddamn Covid. It's the first time getting it. I've been vaxxed, boosted, and careful, but my luck ran out.
Fortunately my symptoms are mild. But I'm gonna have to stay away tonight, so as to infect y'all. It sucks. But I hope you'll all have lots of fun!
