this album cover was always a favorite :: At a glance, he reminds me of Jacknife from "Superjail!"

One of the best shows I ever saw: The Cramps in Tijuana, Mexico - early 1992 or so.
Drunk college kids, TJ hipsters and ex-pats, cholos from both sides of the border, lots of bikers, some skinheads.... a potentially dangerous mix, but it didn't matter at all since Lux was downright spellbinding on stage and everybody just had a real good time together.
RIP Lux.
And so sorry you had to die in suck-ass Glendale, CA.

one of the first and greatest bands I've seen live. Truly gutted - they don't make them like Lux anymore

i have a story about seeing the cramps live that's way too filthy to recall on here, but it's fair to say that they're a band i remember with extreme fondness. i'm downright gutted that i'll never see them again. RIP lux.

So glad to have seen them more than once. Absolutely amazing shows. Always wondered what would happen if they played with Iggy Pop. Definitely put all these sniffling indie kids to shame.
Yeah, our punk rock icons are going. This is the first one to make me cry.
Weep. And weep some more.
