THS in Camden on the Saturday was my last gig before lockdown. A great one to finish on for sure, but jeez, three months without live music and counting...
I do know from the promoter that dates were held for a weekender in March 21 but that conversation was pre lockdown. I have to say that it is now looking pretty bleak. I run two venues, and I’m involved in various groups which all share the same emerging narrative: Socially distanced gigs are a non starter and live music is dead until venues can reopen with no capacity restrictions. Most people are modelling the end of this year at best, and spring 21 is more likely. Most of the tours scheduled from this spring have postponed to the autumn and we are now re-re-scheduling those for Spring 21. The business model at virtually every scale is fundamentally broken at the moment, and that is nothing to do with artist or venue greed, it just doesn’t work.
With people still dying every day there are bigger things than gigs to worry about. But I do hope I’m proved wrong and there is a medical/screening/tracking protocol that allows music to resume.
And big props to THS for thinking of venue staff when they release their live shows on Bandcamp.

I certainly can't see it happening in March, that's for sure - even if it did go ahead then I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable going. I wouldn't be surprised if it went ahead later in the year though.
I suspect the rest of the dates scheduled this year are at very high risk of being cancelled.
