If I lived in the right country I'd definitely be there. They've got a great line-up.

Leonard Cohen and My Bloody Valentine is pretty awesome.
If this werent so far away, I'd probably go.
I'm confident that Bonnaroo will be even better though.

not as many decent bands as you'd hope for a festival that big, but there's still enough to make it exciting if you're going.

Coachella is an awesome experience, but holy hell is it one expensive weekend. I went a couple of years in a row and then havent gone for a few years now. I would much rather see 6 or 7 smaller shows for the price of the one weekend out there. The lineup this year is pretty awesome though. If you havent been and can afford it you should go.

coachella is the biggest rip off. you get to see too short of setlists where it seems like some are just going through the motions. i would never dream of out boys not giving 100% every show, so that doesn't apply to them. and you can't enjoy a cold hoppy beverage while enjoying music in the 115 degree heat of the desert. you have to stay in an over crowded sweaty beer garden. and then if you dont camp there (for an additional fee) you have to drive either to a hotel, or (in my case) 2 and a half hours home, reletively buzzed at idk midnight, or there abouts.

i've seen huey lewis & the news in concert about six years ago, and they put on a better show than a lot of bands out there now. and no, i'm not kidding.

Revised line-up; get your tickets now! I'd buy the three-day wristband for this bitch. Day one is a little weak (save Hanson and Blue's Clues, of course, and possibly the Dr. Cox-approved Wiggles), but days two and three look pretty sweet. By the way: I've seen a couple of acts on the "day three" roster, and I'm not ashamed.

most of those acts are still more interesting then Paul McCartney i'd see Hanson, Fall Out Boy, most of Day 2, early Bee Gees i gotta say that having seen Leonard Cohen i feel sorry for all the rest of the bands... they're going to get destroyed by a 78 year old man yes, even the board favorites... sorry. i love THS. i love Gaslight Anthem. i'm not sure if they could reduce an entire arena to tears okay, Stevie Nix and Slapped Actress could

Besides the friggin' awesomeness that is fake day 2. I'd also be up for Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart, KC and the Sunshine Band and Paul Young on fake day 3. And maybe Fallout Boy and Pink from fake day 1 too. Fallout Boy were one of the best live bands I've ever seen.
More seriously though, I'll be there of Friday, so my must-see list are: Macca, Franz Ferdinand, Beruit, Black Keys, Silversun Pickups, Ting Tings, We are Scientists, The Presets, THS, White Lies, The Courteeners, Cage the Elephant.
Also, I plan to shoot Morrisey if I can sneak a sniper rifle past security. Then I'm gonna go back in time and kill him again, and introduce Tom Hingley to the rest of The Smiths to make them into a decent band.

You can't dance to Bird on the Wire. You CAN dance to Great DJ.
Zane Lowe? Like... the Radio 1 DJ?... That's one to be avoided, for sure.
