Such a sad 24 hours. Hard to comprehend. Hard to comprehend that the suicide bomber lived around the corner from me just a few short years ago. So hard to comprehend that the youngest victim would have only just been born then. What isn't hard to hard to comprehend is the way Manchester has pulled together since the tragedy occurred. They won't be cowed by terror. I'm proud to say I spent a few happy years there. I was proud as soon as I put on the news and saw them open their cars, homes and hearts to those affected. Fuck this shit. It's like the ultimate dystopian nightmare that began 16 years ago in NYC and shows no signs of abating. We will get to the moment when it ends for good though. We have to.

So sad and horrified watching the news yesterday.
When you have kids that go to gigs and also have friendships (like we all have on this site) that are focussed on a love of live music, this is so close to home.

Such sad news. I have a lot of love for Manchester. I've not been able to stop thinking about it since.
