Anyone else going to this? It's far in advance but wondering if anyone wants to meet up beforehand and share a ride there since it's a bit out of town.

Looking forward to the show and some tailgating tomorrow (if that's a thing). If anyone wants to meet up and split an uber or something, send me a message. Otherwise, see you all there!

There was nothing wrong with the footage. It looked excellent when I rewatched it later not live. It was more that the live stream kept freezing and I got frustrated. Keep up the good work. It's great to see these tunes live because I can't make it. I'll probably just wait til the next morning to watch it without the buffering from now on!

Thanks Rich! Feel free to do the same after today's set too! That's going to be pretty simple: BAGIA in order Status Constructive Sequestered Hoodrat Swish (if time allows) Stay Positive

"Hey, Franz..." Regardless of not being able to make it I'm emotional watching that footage. It's just great to see my favourite band of all time back together playing one of the greatest albums of the last 20 years ('Separation Sunday', Isbell's 'Southeastern' and Dexys' 'One Day I'm Going to Soar' get in too) That encore sounds massive as well. Damn you, Denver. You lucky, lucky fuckers.

Amen.
That looked and sounded fantastic. Lovely to see Franz's gestures / hear his vocals and keys again.

I was dead-set on going to this show, and I'd bought the tickets back when they were first announced. However, that was way back at the beginning of the Summer. It wasn't until a week before the show that I was able to find tickets I could really afford to get myself out there to see them. I'd never had the opportunity to see them live, and I couldn't make last year's D4 show and I was always kicking myself. When I saw that they were having a show at Red Rocks? Goddamn, did I know I had to be there. And it was the greatest night of my life. After their set, I walked down by the side of the stage. There was a man there in a yellow Red Rocks coat, sitting in a folding chair. Before I could even say a word, he'd said "I don't know anything. Don't ask me. I can't say it anyways." I started trying to see if I could make around to the other side, maybe I'd have better luck over there. Only a moment later, I saw Craig, Tad, Dan, and Steve back beyond the gate on the side of the stage. I reached into my bag I'd brought to the show and pulled out my copy of Fiestas and Soft Rock, and said "Craig!" I didn't expect him to actually come down, but I couldn't believe it. I was able to meet the whole band even though I never thought I'd get the chance. I walked to the smoking area with Tad as he told me a story about calling his mom when the van broke down and they didn't have the cash to replace it. Steve and Dan were both great guys. The last thing I wanted to do was make them feel awkward, but it was so fucking awesome. I was also lucky enough to take home some things I'll cherish for the rest of my life. Best birthday I could've ever asked for. Here's some more photographs from the night before they set up. I did get a VERY small amount of footage of them performing. I'd love it if they could someday release the real footage they had that night—Red Rocks had some high-quality professional camera men there to feed to the screen next to the stage, so that footage has to be somewhere. and hey, here's me gurning like an idiot next to the most influential artist I know.
