It was pretty awesome to have them back at the Abbey Bar. Nice big crowd.
Roddy talked about Mike in between songs about halfway through the show.
Nice and loud.
Ears have almost stopped ringing.

I tried hard to see them in louisville this week, but I got detained and they were done by the time I got there (who starts a show at 7?) I have heard great things and love their studio stuff. I really want to see them live when I get a chance. Love that there is a connection I didn't know about.

Yeah, kinda odd that they started so early. Maybe it had something to do with the venue? Hope you have better luck next time! Totally was that- city park on a Thursday. I was bummed. |

Their last record came out in September 2013. As someone who has loved both of their last two, I'm at the "anxiously awaiting news" point with these guys again. LP4 can't come soon enough.

Charlie, we were standing right next to Logan, the bass player, most of the night at Sturgill Simpson. I could've asked him. We just got talking about all sorts of other stuff. I know Rod's wife is about to have a baby so that may slow things down. Plus they went hard at it touring last year. |
