This has been out for almost a year now, but it still is worth talking about because there's a reissue coming up.
Titus Andronicus are like The Replacements and My Bloody Valentine had a baby that grew up loving The Clash and Arcade Fire. It's a pretty kickass album.

They're soooo fucking fantastic. I saw them for the third time last week, opening for Los Campesinos! It was a slight letdown, because the crowd wasn't nearly pumped and/or drunk enough, but it wasn't the band's fault, they brought it as usual. They covered "Roadrunner" and it was gnarly. I bought their album again, this time on vinyl, along with a handydandy bottle opener. In addition to shredding, they're also very friendly gents, always willing to chat after a set.
On a related note, me and some friends have a zombie movie in the works, and "Fear and Loathing In Mahwah, NJ" is going to tie into it in some capacity. It's gonna fucking rule
