Yes indeed. Very interesting. This festival tends to cater towards the hippie crowd, but apparently they're diversifying this year. Our boys will be playing alongside Govt. Mule, The Allman Brothers Band, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Ray Lamontagne, Coheed and Cambria ( ), Derek Trucks Band, Richie Havens, Jackie Greene, Girl Talk, Tea Leaf Green, Porter Batiste Stoltz, Railroad Earth, Brett Dennen, The Lee Boys, U-Melt, The Macpodz, The Brew, and others TBA This is taking place May 29-31st in Hunter Mountain, NY.

what the blue fuck? i used to intern for the radio station that puts this on. there is an overabundance of hippie jam band shit on the regs, but this looks way more interesting.

This is so awesome. I used to be one of these all jamband, all hippie fests, all the time- but I've grown up and out of it; but I still like some of the music (Mule, DTB and RRE are all great).
I am so excited to be able to share the Hold Steady madness with my staunch hippie friends.
Woo Hoo!!!

Went to Mountain Jam last year to see the truckers and its a great venue, but lots of wookies. Good time though. I saw Coheed and Cambria at Xmas Jam and they were interesting. Not really my cup of tea. Very hard rock/heavy metal but they did a really good version of I shall be released with warren. All of them are kick ass musicians too, just a little to hard for my ears. Id love to make it back up this year for THS.
The only complaints I had last year was the crowd(mainly the ones that showed up just to get fucked up and could care less about the music, which happens at a lot of festivals anymore), although I did meet lots of cool people.
