Thats it! You win. I will now place two local strippers on either side of you, shower you with champagne, hand you a giant cardboard check, an oversize trophy and the microphone so you can start thanking your 112 sponsors.

I love hot soft but is it really that essential? I guess i just feel that on with the business needs to be played 100% of the time, along with Big Cig and Almost Everything

I guess i just feel that on with the business needs to be played 100% of the time, along with Big Cig and Almost Everything Certain circumstances dictated the setlist today which may explain "Hot Soft" and the lack of "On with the Business" which has not been played a lot live yet (it is really hard and complex to play live I think and I know it will not go into the regular setlist until everyone is beyond confident they can pull it off well enough to make heads spin a little). Going to hold off on posting a photoset from Virginia until Sunday night.

Really surprised that Stations wasn't played to a festival crowd.
But, happy to see that "Wait Awhile" was in there. That should also be played more.
"On with the Business" sounded great at SXSW a few times, FYI.

rich representing. did you get loaded and stay for seether? Up after THS was A Day To Remember. About 5 songs into their set one of the venue staffers who knew me came off the stage shaking his head and said "You should get a photo of THAT." So I did. Minutes later I came off the stage shaking my head the same way. We left before their set was over and by the time Panic at the Disco and/or Seether hit the stage, we were comfortably back in Charlottesville.

Gonna weigh in here a little late.
I wanted to get there early to try to link up with Rich & co, but ended up walking in about 15 minutes before THS went onstage, thanks to a parking operation that seemed pretty sluggish for the number of cars actually rolling in at that point. The crowd largely consisted of people trying really hard to look like they were truly unhappy to be there... or anywhere. It was a big mopey mass. It'd been a long time since I'd seen that many prominent facial piercings in one place.
THS went on, and I posted up near some people that knew the words, who it would be revealed later that Rich knows. The band sounded rough, which was a double-edged sword. It was cool to hear the rough-edged, punky-sounding 2004 instrumental lineup, but I went in to this stoked to hear the well-oiled Big Rock Machine that they've become and to hear more of the Teeth Dreams tunes (though we still got four). I think the BRM would have gone over better in this setting, but they wouldn't have won that crowd with Steve, Franz, and all four guitar players from Diarrhea Planet tacked on. A girl in front of me: "who are these guys supposed to be, anyway?"
Highlights for this guy: Hornets!, The Swish, Big Cig, Wait a While (these two sounded good with one guitar -- Spinners and The Ambassador sounded empty), and Resurrection on the day before Easter, because of course they did.
After THS went offstage, I scarfed down a bowl of mediocre chili and left before A Day to Remember played a note.

Yeah ... literally going from being on the stage with Steve at Midnight in New Haven CT then having to take the stage without him 400 miles south and 14 hours later (due to his wife's early labor) was a big curveball thrown at the earhole of the band. You are right, it was going to be a semi-amusing train wreck regardless simply based on the audience. However, I personally enjoyed seeing them make it up as they went and exchanging smiles as they tried to remember how they used to play certain songs. Craig played more guitar in that 75 minutes than he has in all of 2014 combined. I am sure they will more than make up for this Richmond debacle when they come back in full force in September at The National.

Also, something I didn't note is that sometimes it's hard to hear Galen with either keys, the second guitar, or both -- he killed it.
