That picture of them in a limo is amazing. Do you think they'll tour to support it?? (95% joking) I've never heard of a tour in support of a photograph before.

Does anyone have more info about the doc? There was brief discussion on the old board about it, but no one really knew anything. I haven't looked for the trailer in a while, but I saw it twice in the short time that it was on Youtube.
Any leads would be appreciated.

from john agnello's blog:
In my spare time over the last month and a half, I've been taking on some small, one off type gigs. One of the things I did was go through some live old live shows of The Hold Steady. There are some pretty cool recordings and some great performances. We'll see what happens with that stuff.
don't think that pertains to this thread, but still - exciting!!!

I wonder if that's the same documentary that we had the trailer for? The reason I'm saying that - the trailer did not give me the impression it was filmed in London. Hmm.

Ooh, do I see two new bonus tracks? I'm guessing they're going to be studio? Have they been played live or are they still under wraps? Ahh, so many questions, so little time! Between this and the Lifter Puller anthology, my wallet is screwed.

I am slightly bummed about not getting interviewed for the documentary.
Unless I was and I just don't remember because I was totally fucking plastered. In which case I hope it never comes out.

Have to wait till April, now this winter is really going to be long.
Any one know which First Ave show the documentary will have footage from.

Don't know if it was on the TMT link but I found this on a different site; The Hold Steady release the double set on April 6 (UK) / April 7 (US). The second disc features a 17-song-set recorded at the Chicago Metro on October 31 2007.

That night was epic. I dressed up as Eddie Argos and watched the show from onstage. If only Eddie had followed through with his promise and dressed up as me...
