Anyone catching this festival down in st. augustine? I hate Florida but I just did an interview with greg gillis (girl talk) and decided to make the hike. There is a pretty crazy line up www.harvestofhopefest.com/

Yeah, it's going to be pretty sweet. I'm excited to see whiskey & co for the first time, along with The Mountain Goats and Girl Talk and about a 100 other bands.

I was hoping this was gonna be news that The Hold Steady was added. Ah well. Not that it matters, because I'm definitely going! Bought my ticket and everything, it's gonna be awesome. I could use a change of scenery, and Florida should definitely do the trick.

It would be haven if THS was playing. Bummer though that their schedule is sort of shitty and a lot of good bands playing at the same time.

Looking forward to seeing Spoonboy as well. I always think of that Soundgarden tune when I hear his name...

Looking forward to seeing Spoonboy as well. I always think of that Soundgarden tune when I hear his name... "all my friends are skeletons, all my friends are brown and red..." there was a daytime dj on pre-corporate buyout denver modern rock radio, who used to have a daily segment where first he'd play that song, and then have this older native american man come on and tell a story. it blew my wee 8th-grade mind.
