I think I noted on the tour dates thread I keep my + my friend's ticket in my wallet. I get excited every time I see it. I also have to keep my money somewhere else now.

Definitely planning on it. The wife tore her Achilles tendon in May, and though she should be fully recovered by then, she may be gunshy about a crowd scene, jostling, etc. On the plus side we got to sit in the handicapped section of the Electric Factory for the National on June 4.

I think I may end up doing this one instead of D.C. I cant really afford two shows, and this one is only $18 as opposed to $30 for D.C.

D.C. is closer but Boston I don't have to take an extra day off from work (which I'm already doing for this show).

I'm even considering this because the NY show is a ruddy theatre.

Amtrack prices ain't to bad ($35 each way) but i'm not sure on when I will make a return. I can either return just after midnight or stay the night and return in t'morning. Looking at prices, Philadelphia is more likely. Keep me as a maybe.

I haven't participated in any US action or roll calls, but I have been to a few THS shows. I'm in for this show and will be bringing my friend to pop his THS cherry. Should be a great time. Anyone ever been to the Trocadero? I've only been to the Electric Factory for Philly shows.

Anyone ever been to the Trocadero? I've only been to the Electric Factory for Philly shows. The Troc is an old burlesque house with a nice wooden floor. When the Catholic school boys used to sneak in there they called it the "Trenton Royal Opera Company." Standing on the floor, some bench seating in the balcony. Balcony is usually 21+ The sound is MUCH MUCH BETTER than the Electric Factory. I've heard Patti Smith there, and P-Funk, and They Might Be Giants. All sounded great. On the minus side, it has the filthiest bathrooms in the known universe. Oh yeah, I'm in, with a +1. (I hope it will be She Who Must Be Obeyed, but she's snarking again. I told her THS were playing PHilly in October and she said "Yeah? Who are they opening for?")

i kinda completely hate the sound at the troc, but hopefully they'll have their own sound guy with them. the room itself sounds just fine, but i've seen some real ineptitude in the live mixing there. last time i saw NOFX there, i couldnt hear the lead guitar at all until the 2nd song. chances are i'll be right up front anyway, hearing more of the monitors than the actual sound system

Well, you have the Bolt Bus, Megabus which will cost you about $30 round trip, less if you order sooner rather than later. There is also NJ Transit to Trenton, then the Septa train to Philly which will cost you about $50 round trip.
