Greatest First Post Ever. I was looking for this for ages, since I missed it before it was taken off. Question: Is this actually a real perfomance. Because I would be surprised if Muppets did a band as little known as the Hold Steady. p.s. I am wearing socks with Animal on them today

Question: Is this actually a real perfomance. Heh no, but that's flattering. It was just an exercise in editing that I did for fun. I did one with Reservoir Dogs too that came out pretty well. I had a lot of time on my hands this fall.

Love it long time.
I watched this thing a hundred times before it got pulled.
Now I'll watch it a hundred more.
And love it each time.

Spectacular editing!
I also love your take on the Reservoir Dogs scene. That opening scene is one of my all time favorites... Tarentino's writing is pure genius, and I think he'd approve of your casting. Kermit and Steve Buscemi are nearly twins separated at birth, and Fozzi is a spot-on Joe.
I shared these videos with a buddy who is a Hold Steady fan. After he finally stopped laughing, he said "That dude's got a lot of free time", to which I replied... "Time well spent".
Thanks!!

I love this very much.
Do you remember what song they were singing originally? Or was this taken from several shows? Enquiring minds, etc.

Thanks so much, you guys. I'm really glad I've been able to share it with fans of two of my favorite things. Do you remember what song they were singing originally? Or was this taken from several shows? Enquiring minds, etc. The footage of Electric Mayhem is all from The Muppet Show's first season. As nerdy as it sounds (though I think I'm well beyond pretending I'm not a nerd, haha), I just used the Muppet wiki page to track down which episodes had Floyd/Dr. Teeth/etc and grabbed as many clips as I could. It was a fun way to learn the ins and outs of ripping dvds and making them usable in Final Cut.

Oh it wasn't for a class. My mom thought it was cool though, if that counts for anything ...she was a little upset about Kermit swearing so much in the other video though.
