Any idea where I might be able to find sheet music to THS songs for the piano? Particularly First Night?

I'm sure none officially exists, but if you look up guitar chords you'll have the guts of it...just add in the melody lines and lots of flourishes :-p

I doubt THS will be popular enough to release sheet music/tab books, which means you have to work it out by ear

and even if they did, those books are always just publishing companies' ploys to make money, and offer subpar transcriptions.
care to comment on that phenomenon, heidi?

and even if they did, those books are always just publishing companies' ploys to make money, and offer subpar transcriptions. care to comment on that phenomenon, heidi? mm, it depends. seriously, i've found it to be case-by-case. i don't love the wilco book my company put out, but some of our other pop tie-ins are pretty good. i would say hal leonard is the most guilty of the money-making scheme.
