but it seems pretty legit =)
I'm not a hipster/scenester/whatever by any means... I don't go to shows with any regularity and I dress in clothes from aeropostale... but good music has always been important to me.
None of my friends like this band. Actually, that's not true, because none of my friends even know who they are. But I could care less... this band really means a lot to me and it's cool that y'all made this board... I have honestly never even met another person who has even heard of them... so I just wanted to say that I think this neat =)

Missy and I both love the Hold Steady, but we haven't been able to convince anybody else from our friend group.

welcome to the board, which has become one of my biggest timesucks, along with facebook, youtube, and twitter. great procrastination tool.. just look at the procrastination thread in the general category or just a great place to talk and hang out with friends who all like the same band or get tour info or post pictures the list continues on and on welcome to the unified scene  |

I've only met one other person (aside from family and those who got into tHS when I did) who knows of them. And she doesn't know tHS very well.
