4. Eagles of Death Metal last night Ooo how were they; what covers did they rock out? Stuck in the Metal (which is only 50% a cover, y'know?) and Brown Sugar. Not as good as the first time I saw them (though that was before I ever saw THS, which set a new standard of concert-going) but still very fun. The dudes were way more into it than most of the chicks, which I thought was really weird. (Come to think of it, that was how it was the first time too. I just always see them as such a girl band that it's weird when dudes are really into them.) |

That gig was in my top 5. They put on such a good show, even without Josh Homme, did you get Josh on drums? 1.I finally got some throat sweets. 2.My vinyl spending spree - 5 classic records for 10 English pounds. 3.Grand Theft Auto 4 (kill kill kill - I'm turning violent am I?) 4.Buying some new clothes today 5.The good songs off the War Child CD (in particular TV on the Radio and The Hold Steady) |

That gig was in my top 5. They put on such a good show, even without Josh Homme, did you get Josh on drums? No, it was the drummer from QotSA (Joey Castillo?). I've seen them four times now and only Josh on drums once, when they opened for The Strokes. |

Holy moly. Joey Castillo. He is such a badass. Most drummers drum with their wrists. He just uses his whole arms. That dude is such a badass. I would prefer to have Joey than Josh on the drums. I got a no name instead  |

1. Cup cakes baked by my gf with half an inch of icing on them!
2. THS - Atlantic City cover, got the album today and have this on repeat right now.
3. The sun..i swear I actually saw it in the sky today
4. It was semi-light when I left work wooooo-hoooo!
5. My aching muscles...I actually played a full 90min footy match yesterday for the first time in months and it felt great

"Those some fancy cables, Dave!" ah, yes. he was renamed. those are the fanciest cables i have seen anywhere, ever. also, all day i have been adopting jesse's large southern woman voice as my own. and the best part about it is that no one even notices- apparently new, weird voices are expected from me. who knew?! |

2. & 3. My fabulous nephew who just turned 9 and is the sweetest little boy I've ever known & my niece who is almost 6 but has the maturity and humour of someone twice her age.
4. My cat who, when he is not sleeping in the warmth and dark of the closet, is following me around, and just generally wanting to be where I am
5. The dress I plan to wear tomorrow. It is so fabulous.
