And my first guitar (looks a lot scruffier), after my crappy acoustic of course, everyone has to start guitar on:
A:Crappy Acoustic
B:Squier Telecaster
C:No name ripoff electric guitar

i voted for guitar hero because its true.

i've known about 4 actual guitar chord for like a year now, but still have no idea how to string them together to sound like a song.

i have always said that if i could just be magically imbued with one musical talent, it would be the bluegrass fiddle. love it.

If I could see any the most talented musician of any instrument play, I too would pick Fiddle, it's magical watching it.
My old English teacher once showed us his mean fiddle skills, he was fucking amazing.

I went for lyricist, it's what I do best. But I do play guitar 'cos if not my hands would get bored and do stuff they shouldn't.

I started out on the trumpet and moved on to baritone and french horn. Haven't played in a concert band since high school though.

I wish I could play the harmonica.
I think I'm taking a introductory piano class next term, I'm real excited.

Do most people start on Clarinet and progress to Saxomaphone, because my friend did that.

I'll be the first one to vote for bass, though I started out on guitar, so yes, I'm allowed to touch them! I also play a little bit of piano, and I can sing pretty well. As of right now though, bass is the most interesting instrument for me. Everytime me and my friends get together to play music, there's always at least three guitarist and no bassist, and nothing ever clicks, so I figure I should step up and get my thump on. Plus, I realized that all of the stuff I'd been trying to write on guitar actually translates really well to bass, and sounds alot fuller.

I'm eyeing this badboy for my next purchase...droooool...

And Jonny Jay that is a sweet looking bass, and you are right, there are never any bassists and too many guitarists.
Some people have to sacrifice playing a good instrument so that the music sounds better

Well I've been playing Guitar and Drums for 13 years, bass for 9, Keys for 3, and writing lyrics and singing for as long as I can remember.

So i'm not voting for one specific thing.

I went with keys. I play guitar (poorly) and I suppose I could probably still pull off a few songs on my old flute (poorly). Yeah, keys was the only reasonable option.
