Not hard to believe at all, but I think the real surprise was seeing songs not on the album listed as bonus tracks. It makes me wonder if a certain version of the release will contain extra songs. I want to know how to get them. this is the question. i'll be bummed if they're announced later somewhere else and not somehow folded into the official preorder.

yeah, those songs sounded pretty great. Awesome acoustic version of "Sweet Part..." too. love the guitar sounds on this song.

Stay Positive as a whole is definitely underrated. I think its their second best, behind SS, but very close I agree that it's their second-best behind SS, and I'd also go as far as to say it's my favorite.

I think we'd be hard pressed to find a band that has stayed together for a decade and not faced some uncertainty about moving forward. these things are natural among relationships like this, so I wouldn't worry too much. Besides, from the looks and sounds of everything they're putting forward and saying about this record, it looks like they've gotten through whatever it was, are stronger for it, and are ready to rock this thing for the foreseeable future.

I think Our Whole Lives and Barely Breathing are songs that get ignored and maligned, respectively, off of the last one. Moving on, I also really dig slower, countryish THS (Lord, I'm Discouraged, Sweet Part, Cheyenne Sunrise) and I think For Boston gets lost a little in the love for Girls Like Status off of BIGiA.
Bigger picture, I think Stay Positive is a f'in terrific album that stands right next to the first three.

Gonna listen to this on Spotify so much that the band will actually be able to buy a sandwich from it.

I'm hoping that 4/19 date holds. I haven't been to the National in a long time, and I can second Rich: that venue rules.
