Hiya. I had some spare time today at work, setting up some coursework activities for a student... they have to mix/produce something on Logic, so we needed something already recorded for them to work on mixing. So me and another teacher knocked together this cover of Chips Ahoy... www.yousendit.com/download/UmNJN3RWaTFVVGxMWEE9PQ I play guitar/piano and sing. It's a bit ropey but hey, have a listen.

Holy Wow. This is a really good cover. I totally wasn't expecting it to be like this. The piano/acoustic guitar/trumpet combo works really well. And that final chorus is magic.
You've got a really good voice, have you got any more material?

hope nobody minds the hideous out-of-tune school piano. I thought it added to the effect of the song.

This is good! I think the trumpet is a stroke of genius - very hauntingly placed. A nice original approach to the cover.

Thank you everybody! You're all very kind.
Hopefully there'll be another opportunity to knock together another HS cover at some point!

That's really, really good. Totally puts a new spin on the song. Reminds me of the first time I heard Ryan Adams' cover of "Wonderwall"--just a completely new direction on a familiar song.
