So has anyone got a ticket. I got a weekend one for Leeds on the earliest pre-sale (last year). Line up; Looks pretty pants aside from; EODM, YYY, Gaslight Anthem, Gallows. But hopefully some good bands will be on the smaller stages. But Sunday looks like it'll turn into a bottle of piss day... also. *Please come and do it THS* I think Monkeys will be an okay headliner. Radiohead could be fucking mint OR fucking depressive and awful. Kings of Leon will put on a good show.

IIRC 12 and unders can go in for free if they are with an adult with a ticket - I'm pretty sure it's been like that in the past.

Swap Bloc Party with Arctic Monkeys and Brand New for The Deftones and I'd buy a Saturday ticket.

They're pushing the mosher kids out, aren't they? Yeah, they completely omitted a big metal band like they had Metallica and RATM. They could have at least got AC/DC for Sunday

Radiohead could be fucking mint OR fucking depressive and awful. don't worry, radiohead are totally brilliant live, and i'm not always the biggest fan of their records. better than oasis, like.

I tried for about 40 minutes until I really considered the line up. I gave up before I got through. Sunday at Reading looks pretty good.
I doubt THS will do it unless they get a main stage slot. They headlined a tent in 2006 afterall.

[/rant] that's a shame. i've seen them twice and both times it's raised them in my estimations. (i left after about half an hour of oasis, though. yeesh.) sounds like you're about ready to quit crappy mainstream festivals and start going to ATP instead.

radiohead just didn't seem to be in the mood, they might be brilliant most of the time but they were shit when i saw them. i can't afford festivals anymore! £130 for a weekend of rain? no thanks.
i am gonna spend the money on something else. probably that band i like.

you know that ATP is indoors, right? also, you'd be lucky to get a ticket to one of the big festivals for £130. reading/leeds is £175 for a weekend ticket this year!

They haven't released the headliners for the NME stage yet. Last year it was; Cribs w/Johnny Marr, Babyshambles, and Manic Street Preachers. So they can still get 3 fairly big bands on the bill. I have a feeling that Pendulem will headline one of them But I hope Modest Mouse get the call up, THS are not big enough to headline the NME stage
