I'm not feeling this person's writing style. If you are going to write, say something with it. Salma Hayek reference, lesbian rumours? Maybe I'm not supposed to get it...

This guy sounds like a double headed dildo. And its not that I think double headed dildo's are bad. Its just that sometimes they are not in the right place at the right time. Here the double headed dildo would be on top of a cake at grandmas anniversary. That dildo would be this guy

So he didn't get converted last night, but he had to admit, the band's pretty tight.
A review that's more about the reviewer not knowing himself and what he likes than about the band in question. And the Boys still come out of it in a positive light.
Go with what got you there fellas.

My favorite part--"And I appreciated when Craig Finn sang convoluted, brainy lines like “Subpoenaed in Texas, sequestered in Memphis”".
He singled out one of the least convoluted, least brainy lines in THS's repertoire as 'convoluted' and 'brainy'.

That read to me like he didn't pay attention to the show because he was too caught up in hearing the world "lesbians." Maybe it's just me, but I've never been to a concert, no matter how bad or how much I didn't like or didn't care about it, where I couldn't at least remember one rhythm. I'm not expecting everyone to instantly convert to THS, but this guy didn't seem to try.
