I've been thinking this for a long time, but have never mentioned it.
I think she's the girl who got pinned down at the Party Pit.
"I saw her at the Party Pit, she was shakey, but still trying to shake it..." -Banging Camp
The lines right before she met Charlemagne, before he completely screwed her up. From her believing that he was Jesus reincarnated.
"I guess that all those things I did were just momentum from the Party Pit..."

I agree completely with this. I thought the line from Chicago Seemed Tired Last Night: "When St. Theresa came to Holly, I wasn't even at that party. I'd already moved out to New York City." I took the "I came back to start a band, of course" as the narrator coming back from NYC.

Man, how do we get that epic "Unifying Theory" thread from the old board back on this new board? Anyone remember that? That was some great reading. It tied it all together (no pun intended).

I always thought that it referred to Holly, also the line "I'm pretty sure we kissed" makes the narrator a bit of a liar when he says "I ain't ever been with your little hood-rat friend."

It tied it all together (no pun intended). this has nothing to do with my theory that links LOST, THS, The Dark Tower (and by extension every Stephen King story), and vampires, right?

I don't think it is Holly strictly speaking.
Unless you subscribe to the "unifying theory" (which I reckon holds similar credibility to the "it was all a dream" interpretation of the Matrix) then appearences in First Night and Adderall of the original trio show that they may have matured slightly but are still up to the same old tricks. I think the tone of Party Pit indicates the narrator is meeting someone he knew from school or as a teenager, but like a decade later, and although he has grown up and moved on, she's never really past the partys down at the Mississippi. And now gets drunk and causes a scene at the mall.
I like to think of it as who Holly will be when she grows up, but you could also read it as a totally seperate girl with a rather similar personality and situation.

i always thought that Party Pit was Holly's origin story and hasn't Craig said there's one narrative running through the whole thing? i was at some very wanky 'art' opening and one of the artworks was just a stylized 'Holly' written on a bit of wood and i have my own theory. the Camps are run by the Dharma Initiative. the Island is the Dark Tower. the polar bear is one of the Guardians of the Beams, as is the weird swarm thing. Sapphire was a normal kid but the camps used MK Ultra style stuff to turn her psychic okay i'm joking about everything except the last one, maybe

nah it makes sense. the camps prey on fucked up druggie kids. people coming out get 'visions' and as we've seen in Stay Posi and Chips Ahoy those visions are accurate. so i reckon the kids get dosed with more LSD/drugs and develop psychic powers. seriously. read up on MK Ultra
i also think the main events in Stay Posi are based on the Matthew Shephard gay bashing case
and Holly is definatly the kid from Party Pit
