The results of the last poll were a bit predictable, but this one I'm really curious.

AKM and BAGIA battle it out for top spot as my favourite, even though deep down I know that SS is their best album

Not for me, I don't like children.
I don't feel so bad that Stay Posi is at the bottom of the other poll now.

i have this theory about me, but maybe it applies to others as well. stay positive is brilliant. and, in ever so many ways, it speaks about my life more than previous albums. but it is way too early for me to admit that it might be better than my favorite album of all time - SS. after all, it is new and shiny and polished still, and in my mind, not been beaten up with many years of mental associations, 1000s of miles on the highway, hours of lyrics dissection with friends, and otherwise aged with booze and friends. i have not yet had an argument with this album that didn't turn out to be stupid. it has never been cruel to me, but then, we have never been on a road trip together or stuck alone in a small apartment with nothing but a couple bottles of wine for company. i have not embarrassed myself (errr . . . much) in front of this album. i have not even drunk dialed this album. but i clearly will.
so, it's my second favorite album . . . for now.

Ah, but then there is I, older, wiser, more aware of my own motivations - so when SP showed up I welcomed it in and declared my gratitude for it's finding it's way into my life. I appreciate it for itself, and not for what the cool kids told me about it, or the somewhat dysfunctional history I might have shared with SS. No matter how many gifts SS sends me, I need it to acknowledge that yes, we have shared good times, yes, it did help me through some awful days, but it can't be everything to me. There's a piece missing that isn't missing with SP. And who knows? Life is long - maybe one day I will meet someone better, but my love for and appreciation of SS is not diminished by my new friendship with SP and SS needs to just get over it already and stop being so needy. Why can't SS be more like BAGIA? BAGIA understands that the 3 am call isn't disrespectful - at 3am I need BAGIA in a way only BAGIA can provide. AKM knows I love it, BAGIA knows I love it, why can't SS understand?

Is it blasphemous to say AKM ranks fourth on my list somedays? SS & BAGIA battle daily for first place in my heart, leaving SP & AKM battling for third place. I'm fairly certain this will upset someone if not all.

Polls are fun! BAGIA has just started to be my second favourite, I think. Just beating AKM. I love it because it is big, and it's accessible while still being extremely ambitious. I love it for songs like Chillout Tent with all it's "don't stop believein" flair that they pull off without even seeming cheesy. I love it for "It came on hot and soft and then it tightened up its tentacles"

Boy and Girls in America hands down is my second favorite. Although i love AK, and SP, they're both a little too inconsistent to merit being my second favorite album.

Boys and Girls ranks number one because it got me into them. And it's just a damn good record.
I know that Separation Sunday is their best work but it will always be second place because of the memories created thanks to Boys and Girls in America.
Stay Positive and Almost Killed Me can battle it out on America Gladiator for a close third.
