So, those of us at the Chicago book event got an early copy of the book. It's fantastic. The rainy Sunday (prior to the great Empty Bottle show) allowed me to power through and read the whole thing. And, I'm just honored that I've been around here since the early days of the board. And I "know" a lot of you who contributed. Some of you I actually know in person. And, I'm kicking myself for not submitting something myself.
Anyway, the Chicago shows were fantastic. And this book is just what I needed. I'm just feeling really lucky that I found this band and this scene when I did. 20 years, wow. See you all in the pit again soon I hope. Me and my kid now, which is even better.

Just got through it. Got home from being out of town and it was waiting for me. Sped through it. Couldn’t put it down. I first saw THS on the Separation Sunday tour, and have seen them countless times since. I’ve probably met a lot of the folks from this forum at shows, but for some reason that I can’t quite articulate, I’ve never joined up here even though I knew of its existence. The book made me change my ways. Inspired me to sign up, so hello. If you’re going to the Vegas show, I’ll see you there.

Any Euro folks heard anything about their orders?
Not necessarily surprised it hasn't arrived but they said there'd be a notice when it was dispatched which I haven't seen since.

Just arrived in the mail. Corners aren't perfect but still looks and feels great. Flipped and read a few pages, brings a lot of memories to mind. It is a little funny, though; this is exactly the first place I'd come to discuss it, but it's hard to forget that there's almost no one else to talk to about it anyway, because it's so difficult to communicate how much you actually love The Hold Steady.

Yeah, just fired off an email to the company handling it.
To be honest, hearing nothing after paying more than 100 euro is just not good enough.
