At some point, both the Jun 30 and July 1 shows at the Salt Shed were "sold out". And yet there are still ga tix available for both shows. Can someone explain that to me?

I know the band announced online in the last day or so a release of a few more tickets for each. For almost any show the band, promote, venue etc. may hold back some tickets to certain purposes (promotions, special guests, etc). When that allotment isn't all needed as the date approaches, those tickets are released for sale. Seems something like that happened.
