Less than a week to go now, almost upon us.
I'm on a flight early for this one, Bluejays at home on Monday and Fontaines DC on Tuesday so I'll be in the air on Sunday, anyone else on this board attending? I've little experience in Toronto, only been once, briefly, many years ago, so does anyone have any recommendations for pre show a and post show meet ups?
Any recommendations for anything really? Places to visit? Must eat at places? Hope to meet up with a few of you during the four shows.

Not sure what we are doing Saturday afternoon, maybe get a few THS fans for some afternoon beers and hockey hall of Fame?

I really hope you guys enjoy it a lot - and now that I see both Pkew Pkew Pkew AND Kiwi Jr. are opening, I'm starting to get pretty jealous.

We were hoping you would make it too but I figured it was a long shot. We missed the show tonight due to a late start and a 7 hour drive but are set for tomorrow. Still looking for Friday and Saturday if anyone has any extras. Hope you're well.

Good night #1 last night
Traditional Village & Joke about Jamaica were rarities from last nights setlist.
Good start. Everyone looking well. Friendly crowd. As normal. Great venue I thought

I'm beginning to think that Pkew Pkew Pkew might be the best band I've ever seen open for THS? 🤔... Its a tough one, Ezra is up there, Patterson Hood solo also, but they were good.
Pkew added to a very enjoyable night 2.
Half way through now. It's goes so quickly, just like life itself.

Hi! I’m taking my friend’s Saturday tickets as he has Covid. Does anyone happen to know if I’ll be able to pick up his merch bundle for him? Also, I’ll have one extra ticket up for grabs if anyone needs one!

Night #3 in the books now. Another wonderful night with the best band in the world.
You've gotta dance (with wehi you came to the dance with) and Rock problems were the notable rarities last night. Both were played at the sound check so we saw them both coming somewhat. Still good though. 👍

Did they play any new songs at soundcheck? March in London had a couple (Llama and Bloodbath) both at check and at the last show.

No mate , no unreleased tracks were played at the soundcheck.....it didn't go.unnoticed by a few as well. It was a talking point. Great four nights BTW, night #4 was an all timer! Setlist and performance.

Interesting - I heard they were recording last year, so I was hoping for a release this year, and was expecting more new songs to be showing up on setlists. I wonder if this next album is more hard work than the last two which seemingly came together pretty effortlessly, or maybe I'm just reading into it too much. Maybe they just didn't have time to practice them more or something.

I wonder if this next album is more hard work than the last two which seemingly came together pretty effortlessly, or maybe I'm just reading into it too much. Maybe they just didn't have time to practice them more or something. There's a few theories floating about in regards to this, the one I've heard the most is that on the upcoming shows in Australia you are going to have Boys and girls played in its entirety first night, Stay Positive in its entirety the next night, both including 'delux ' extra tracks and the third show is going to be a 'best of ' or 'fan favourite ' night. With this in mind there's going to be no room for unheard tracks in the set therefore playing them now would be interrupted next gigs. I'd be surprised if a few weren't played in Denver. The one off shows in Atlanta and Nashville they are unlikely to be played? All speculation of course. None of that might be true. As far as I gather the new album will be released in January 23'....the question then becomes will the show mode of operation change from three and four night stands in various band favoured Cities to incorporate a one off 20 year anniversary tour? Time will tell. I hope so. I think it's time for a tour. 🤔
