I'm pretty new to the board and looking forward to my first Craig solo gig tonight in Brighton. I've always had to go up to London to see the Hold Steady, so I'm excited to see him play a few minutes from where I live! Is there any meetup arranged tonight before the Brighton gig? If not - does anyone fancy a pint beforehand?

Hi all - have a spare for London tomorrow night as can no longer make it. Open to offers and can just whatsapp over the pdf ticket. Let me know - cheers!

Does anyone know the stage times for tonight's O'Meara gig? Can't find anything online so far.

Answered my own question; Scott Lavene's on stage at 7.30pm tonight. Enjoy the gig.

I know a few on this board attended the last couple of Craig gigs, any info would be appreciated stage time wise and otherwise.
Was Scott on at 7.30on as previously posted. What time was Craig on? Did Craig hang out after the gig or was he shuffled out the door with a towel over his head into a waiting car avoiding the crowds and the paparazzi?🤔
The last bit would be good. 😅
I once saw Elvis Costello do just that. Running out of a gig. There were no crowds, no photographers, no one at all. He was avoiding people who weren't there. I only saw it because I was talking outside to some people as my wife was getting her coat from the coatcheck. 😅😅
Totally unrelated I know but I just remembered that. Someone somewhere might see the funny side to it like I did and still do?.

For a completely opposite experience, I fondly recall leaving a venue on a drizzly Sunday night and the guys from Titus Andronicus were sitting on the curb outside, feet literally in the gutter, sharing some well-deserved post-show beers.

Craig came on at 8.30pm and did a cracking 90 minute set. I left after the gig finished so can't comment on whether Craig then hid under a towel and jumped into a limo. There was a minibus waiting by the stage door though...

For Dublin he came on approx 9 and was done by 10.30. He said he'd hang around after last night and judging by some pics online it looks like he did - I'd to leg it for a train so didn't bother. It probably depends night by night whether he does or not, tbf in the venue in Dublin there's no way out apart from through the crowd.
Same setlist again - just to keep in mind if you're going to two shows.

I find with most bands/artists that the static setlist doesn't get irritating until a third show. Thanks for the heads up though. Now that the cats firmly out the bag in regard to songs played I feel no guilt discussing it. With that in mind I find it surprising that 'Due to Depart' isn't featuring at all? Especially as during the promotional visits to radio stations in the States when given a three song window to promote the album with a live performance it was one of the songs played?🤔......something happened to bump it from the rotation. 'Shamrock' is new to me. Anyone know anything? Overall I like the setlist. No Future, Balcony, Magic Marker or even A hero when no ones watching would have been nice but you can't have everything can you?

Nice find. Thanks. If I wasn't so lazy I might have found it myself. But I'm not. So I didn't. So thanks again. Look forward to hearing that one. 👍

Dublin was fab. Loved the rockier arrangements of Blankets and 90 bucks
