Here is the place to chat all things related to the tele box. Shows I currently watch: Lost Heroes Chuck 30 Rock Scrubs
The newest episode of Heroes was pretty naff in my opinion. It just wasn't that exciting. It was really boring all the episode apart from the last 5 minutes, but those 5 minutes were pretty tense, and I hope that the next episode carries on at the rate that this one ended on.
I'm looking forward to Chuck(and the Bus) in 3D though, I'm glad I kept my 3D specs from My Bloody Valentine.
Why was there no 30 Rock last Thursday?

I'm a devotee of The Office and Entourage. I watch Curb Your Enthusiasm on DVD when the season is over and I'm catching up on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Other shows I like have been off the air for some time now.

I like the Office (US), it's completley different to our version, but it's rarley on our TVs so I don't get to watch it as much as I'd like to.

I am catching up on Lost, i cant believe it took me so long to watch this show. I also love the Office and the Soup. Sons of Anarchy is a guilty pleasure of mine, as is Rock of Love
The Wire is my favorite show ever, nothing compares.

I wish that I had watched the Wire when it came on, but too much has happened and I don't have enough free time to watch every episode. Same happened with Soprano's. I was way too young to watch it when it aired. It was repeated one episode per night on TV, but there was just too much to watch. I loved what I did watch though (first 15 episodes). The opening episode of the Sopranos is amazing. (I also watched the last episode )

- The Daily Show - The Colbert Report, sometimes - Heroes - One Tree Hill - House - Solitary (truly the height of all reality programming) - Target Women ( click now, thank me later) - Top Chef - America's Next Top Model - Blind Date, truly the king of all dating shows - Survivor (S18 in 1 week YES) - The Amazing Race (S14 in 2 weeks YES) - everything that involves Gordon Ramsay - basically every VH1 Celebreality show, except for Celebrity Rehab because that is some painful and non-hilariously exploitative bullshit, and especially any/everything related to sad, sad Bret Michaels and his sad, sad harem of awesome/disgusting skanks - come to think of it, basically every "reality" show not related to socialites, dancing, or wealthy teenagers - and basically anything else insipid enough to make me stop thinking about current events for more than 10-15 seconds

I forgot about the Colbert Report. They play it a lot in the UK, so it's pretty easy to watch. He is such a good character, I adore "Tip of the hat, wag of the finger" (Colbert>Stewart ) I wish that I had watched the Wire when it came on, but too much has happened and I don't have enough free time to watch every episode. Same happened with Soprano's. I was way too young to watch it when it aired. It was repeated one episode per night on TV, but there was just too much to watch. I loved what I did watch though (first 15 episodes). The opening episode of the Sopranos is amazing. (I also watched the last episode ) Netflix my friend, Netflix The thing is, it takes so much time, especially with Sopranos because each episode is 80 mins long (iirc). I managed to watch all of 30 Rock season 1 in one day, but they are all 22 mins long, so it's quite an easy feat to accomplish. Sopranos is like Everest though.

Both the Wire and the Sopranos are well worth the effort.

Both the Wire and the Sopranos are well worth the effort. When I get to Uni - or if I take a year out in two years - I will probably set aside some time to watch all of Sopranos/Wire. The episodes I watched of the Sopranos were amazing.

The US Office is shit. But I still watch it religiously. The UK version is superior. But the US version is still really good. The first few episodes were hard to watch, but then it got much, much better.

what a lack of love for Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations.
The only real reason to watch TV nowadays.
Well, other than Always Sunny.

I can't even tell you how glad I am that Lost is in new episodes again, and so far they're living up to expectation! Also, it is true, there has never been a better television show than The Wire.

The new Chuck episode was really good (not as good as the previous Christmas one). Jerome Bettis and Fat Mike were pure comedy. And Charlie out of Lost made a nice appearence.

This weeks "Big Love" (s03e03) had more major plot points that half a season of your average network "drama."
An amazing episode of a really good show.
--- The Wire remains the best thing ever on the box though.
--- I also watched both seasons of HBO's "Rome" recently, and enjoyed thoroughly. Sex and Violence and History and Sandals.

The second series of Reaper will air on Tuesday 17th March. I really liked Reaper, even though at first it was just a new bad guy each week setup, but then an actual story kicked in and it got really good.
I think the setting of the show is great, with them getting all the supplies from the Work Bench.
Ray Wise as the Devil is one of the best character on tele.

My favs are Scrubs, Arrested Development, The Shield, and The Daily Show. I just bought The Wire off Amazon for the super saver special and it came in the mail today. I know what I'll be doing this weekend.
Is The Wire better than The Shield? Opinions.

Arrested Development was the funniest show on tv back when it was still airing. I can't wait for the movie, if Michael Cera doesn't do it, I'll be heartbroken. I need my George Michael!!!
