Hi All,
Regarding Sunday two pieces of actual news.
I contacted the Lexington and they said the stage times were 9pm start with roughly 10.30pm finish.
Also tickets seem to have been dispatched today.
Can't wait...

THS tickets arrived.
New songs downloaded.
Megabus ticket booked.
Stringer's sofa reserved.
Supplies of anti inflammatory, pain-killing gel purchased for my old, ruined knees.
Unified Scene T shirt (No. 6371) ready to wear with pride.
Old friend Scenesters contacted for a reunion / meet up.
All that's left to do now is stoking excitement up to Cat in the Hat Levels......

One spare Friday ticket for sale face value, a mate had to pull out last minute.
Got the physical ticket and can handover at venue or in camden.
Cheers

This Boys And Girls theme means the album will be played in full, right? I guess all the four new ones will appear both nights as well. If we assume that Hoodrat and Killer Parties, maybe Constructive Summer and Stay Positive as well, is a part of both sets, it doesn't leave many blank spots to fill.

(I remember how Bruce's The River tour setlist was watered down as it went along!) I'll be happy with Stations, Chips and First Night (along with the four essentials you mentioned). Then again, they could turn up and play pretty much anything and I'd just be glad that they're over here. (secretly I'm hoping for a cover of Warren Zevon's Werewolves of London)

Yeah, just feel that the Boys And Girls thing will count for something, bringing back that theme after two non-BaGiA themed weekends in Chicago and Brooklyn. It could be that they drop Chillout Tent and maybe Same Kooks, but I'm pretty sure we'll hear the rest of them. And I'm guessing all of them, each night.

Cheers Hey - I help the Hold Steady connect fans looking to offload tickets to fans looking for tickets. Would you mind hitting me up on messenger and I can try to help? You can either PM me on here or email ticketexchange@theholdsteady.net and I can try to help you get those tickets in the hands of a fan. Also to those asking in the thread - Cory and I are making the trip from Philly to London. So we'll see you all there!

Just curious- any other crazy fools got tickets for all three gigs? I figured if I was going to make the trip to London, I might as well make a full weekend of it.. got lunch too. Slightly alarmed that I might be classed as a groupie, which as I'm in my 50s isn't necessarily a good thing...

THS on 9pm both nights at the Electric Ballroom. Is there more than one support act if the support is on stage at 7pm? Any news as to who it may be?

THS on 9pm both nights at the Electric Ballroom. The Electric's website has different stage times and curfews for Fri (9pm-11pm) and Sat (8pm-9.45pm) electricballroom.co.uk/Seems to be because the Electric have their usual Propaganda indie disco on Saturday nights after the show. Can anyone confirm these stage times?

Wow. Saturday was just exactly what I needed. Such a positive time. I love this band. New songs sounded great too.
I was with a couple of friends who only half knew the band and they were raving about it afterwards. You know what's funny, because you know what THS are like, you kind of forget that there are people at these gigs experiencing them live for the first time. One of my friends couldn't get over what Craig was like on stage. She said because the lyrics are so wordy and she'd seen a picture of him wearing glasses, she thought he would be all reserved and professorial onstage.
As an aside, I don't think I've been to a gig in ages where there were so few phones out. Everyone in the room, band included of course, just seemed committed to having a great time.

Re: the “crushing lows”, having to check out of my hotel at 10am and getting across London today has been crushing. Can’t wait to get on my train to wet and windy South Wales now! It’s been worth it though.
