Got distracted and missed the ticket sale. Any way to turn back time? Need max bundle for 22nd anniversary. Wife's first time seeing the band! She gonna be shook.

yeah- how low are my odds of getting a 4-day this late in the game? Camie setup US ticket exchanges for Brooklyn and Chicago. She may do it again though I'd think the four day pass might be tough to come by. You never know though, I'd make the trip and hope for the best if you have the means. Worst case scenario you bum around NYC a few days.

Worst case scenario you bum around NYC a few days. It’s a bit early to setup the ticket exchange for this series of shows, but trust that the ticket exchange will be a thing again. And yes, four day passes (or three day in the case of Chicago) usually don’t free up, but one of the rules for the ticket exchange is that no profit is made. Ticket price and fees only... Stay tuned, I’m gonna start it early this series of shows, but probs not until sometime in the fall.

Katieee and I were sold fake tickets for the 10th-anniversary show in Williamsburg - Luckily - Howard had an extra ticket (with access to the pre-show party) I was able to use, and we pulled some magic to get Kaiteee in - avoiding disaster. I will be starting the ticket exchange super early this year.... think in a few weeks. Now fair warning - I am going to get bombarded by people looking to "BUY" initially. Because we are still so far out from these shows, I doubt anyone is going to be looking to sell right away. As we get closer and closer to the shows, more and more people will be solidifying their plans and then finding out that their plans are gonna fall through - this is when the sellers come out. In Chicago - I had multiple remaining tickets for sale for the Thalia Hall shows - The Empty Bottle show was obviously the white whale. - I foresee Brooklyn being very similar, where the Saturday night ticket will be the hot ticket) (Everything above is not a guarantee - I do my best helping with the ticket exchange so you don't get fake tickets, or don't get ripped off by people looking to take advantage) but TL/DR - Look back in a few weeks for ticket exchange info.

When was the support acts confirmed last time around? Cryptic clues were offered a few days in advance but they didn't confirm each nights' opener until the day of (mere hours before) each show on social media. It was fun but I prefer to know ahead of time so I can listen to them a bit if it's someone I'm not familiar with. My wife and I attended night #2 last year and I'd never even heard of Laura Stevenson until she came out.

I remembered it this morning, but it was nice to check in here to see a reply Guess we'll just have to wait then. Right now I'm dreaming of Mountain Goats, who have a gap in their tour from november 18th (when they play in Minneapolis) to december 6th (when they play Durham, NC).

Yea I'm looking forward to all of the discussion and speculation starting. I actually would've preferred to see night #3 last year with the So So Glos, as I'm probably the only person on the boards who doesn't care for Titus Andronicus or Lifter Puller (cardinal sins, I know). Laura Stevenson was decent, though with one of her clues being a picture of the beach I got my hopes way up for Beach Slang.

Guys, Massive Nights at the Brooklyn Bowl is my next scheduled trip, and I'm starting to get excited. I have one concern, though: this time I'm bringing my wife. She's a good sport, and she enjoyed herself well enough when I brought her to THS in Seattle a few years ago, but four consecutive nights going to see a band that she is only casually familiar with...[exaggerated pull at my collar in worry].
How do you guys deal with bringing casual fans to shows? Again, this is more my issue than hers (she will be a good sport and enjoy herself because I'm enjoying myself), but I can't help but feel somewhat self-conscious standing next to someone that I've dragged there.

Hey, I've got two tickets for the Thursday 11/30 show, but sadly it looks like now I can't make that night; is anyone looking to trade for two tickets to any of the other nights? Thanks!

Little over a month out. Please start the speculation on possible/dream openers, fun surprises, etc. Give me something to read when it's slow at work.

I haven't done much research, but I still think Mountain Goats is an option. His tour starts up again on the last Massive Night, which makes a performance in Brooklyn on Friday possible. Nov 18 First Avenue Minneapolis, MN Dec 02 Mr. Small's Theatre Millvale, PA I think the band is quite fond of Front Bottoms, and I even think Craig has done something with them live before? A quick Google search suggest I'm right. They play NYC Nov 25th, and their next date is Dec 16th in New Jersey. That leaves them open for all nights. Bash & Pop have their last date of their tour Nov 28th in California. Might be a stretch, but with Steve in the band, it's not far fetched to speculate in them doing one of the nights. Neither So So Glos nor Titus Andronicus have anything booked, so I guess both of them are options. Some of you guys might have a better notion of names in and around the scene in Brooklyn. This years Titus/SSG, so to say.

He has out of town shows booked on the 30th and 2nd, so, if Rockwood is late... There's some THS connections to High Waisted. Personally, I'd love to see Sunflower Bean open. Super-hot young band out of Brooklyn, and the bass player is my good friend's daughter. I know Craig finally saw Wussy last year, would love to see if they are still on his radar. They are one of the best bands in the country, to me.

Patterson Hood show is early (doors 6:30; show 7:30), so probably can't be an opener. But he could drop by for a cameo during THS...

The tickets says the show starts at 9.30. Do anyone of you who went last time around, or in general know what's usual at NYC venues, know if that's likely to be the set time for the support act or the main act?

I'd love to see this as well but the folks in Wussy are not the "jump in the van and play a show" types, especially all the way to NYC from Cincinnati. On the positive side, they are in the same room again and recording.

These are late nights - this is for the openers - doors are super early - so plenty of time for eating, merch buying, and position jockeying.
