Now that would be one to see!
Would UK dates be too much to hope for?

I wonder if this could mean new solo material? CHFE2 would be very nice please.

This is great news! I think it definitely means a second solo album, which is very exciting.
At this point, for me, this is nearly a dream double bill.
Sort of a Rock N Roll Means well "lite" tour.

Does anyone know if isbell is solo or with the 400 unit? Damn his band is fantastic.

I don't know for sure, but when I saw him last year, he was billed as just "Jason Isbell" but had 400 Unit as well.

Read somewhere that the whole tour is with 400 Unit. Craig is solo as far as I can tell, yes?

I'm not sure! I'm assuming that he'd have to have a band, right? I know he plays guitar, but does he play concert-ready "one-man-on-the-stage" solo guitar? I just haven't seen him play that much.

I know he did some shows with just the guy playing slide guitar, and it sounded pretty amazing. Saw him do an instore in London the day CHFE came out.

This current tour is with the 400 unit, and they rock the fuck out. A friend posted a photo from the nosebleeds. I had the privilege of seeing them do a show in town just before the album went gangbusters, and it was pretty damn incredible. If any of y'all haven't checked out Southeastern yet, you're in for treat.
Edit: And my in-laws are in town for that Cleveland show (they show up twice a decade) , which is the night before the Nelsonville festival I already got tickets for. So I'm out. I see there's an opening in Craig's schedule that he could still be a third-round announcement for that festival - fingers crossed. Last year Isbell played there, so here's hoping.

I bought tickets for Rochester!
I've also been dragged (kicking and screaming) into a work trip that includes Hangout Fest. I notice that the Saturday of that fest is an open date for Isbell and Finn, right after they play Orlando and Hangout of course takes place in Alabama. I am crossing every appendage that they add that date to this tour.

I would love to see this come to the Philly area.
'Southeastern' is an all timer for me. It's fucking amazing.

I wonder what Craig will be doing while Isbell plays the Shaky Boots thing in ATL May 15. Hopefully doing his own show someplace nearby...
