Long time fan here, looking forward to my first show. Making the journey down from York for it. Who else is heading along? Would be great to meet some fellow THS fans

YO! Welcome, welcome, welcome.
I'm in along with the Mrs and two of my band. If it's your first THS show you're in for a treat! Get to Big Hands before and after for maximum 'Scene shenanigans. Just down the street from the venue.

It is quiet Ros but I'll be there as usual - I was Tonto on the old site.

Gotta say I was a bit disappointed with the sound mix tonight. Guitars inaudible until Big Cig when someone clearly found the right faders. Not a patch on the show in May.

Didn't have any real problems hearing the guitars where I wsa, about 7-8 rows back to the right. The mix did get better as the show went on though. First of 2 for me on this tour, Bristol next. Knuckles was a nice treat, Adderall seemed a bit faster than normal, maybe that was me but it was a good thing. Really enjoyed the So So Glos as well.
Setlist is on setlist.fm already - put it up while on the bus back to hotel. Feel free to edit if any mistakes!

I loved it! Really enjoyed every song and even though two of my favourites (Hot Soft Light, First Night) were absent there was so much there to go crazy about. Your Little Hoodrat Friend was a highlight. I did go to Big Hands beforehand but didn't have the courage to ask if people were heading to the gig, so I just had a pint and went on down. Ah well. In summary though, a great first gig and I hope they head up to the north again soon because on a student's budget that's about all I can manage!

Hi everybody (particularly those I met after the gig in Manchester with my brother Paul). Just wondering if anybody happened to film Stay Positive? (ideally including Craig's intro to the song about Paul and his recovery from illness) This feels like a long shot but it would be a nice thing to have and it would be lovely to be able to show my parents what happened at Paul's first gig after coming out of hospital and why THS were the only band fit to have that honour. By the way here's the note I sent to Craig a couple of weeks ago that led to this in the first place for anybody vaguely interested: andrewtwist90.co.uk/music/dear-hold-steady/Thanks guys, the gig was an absolute blast. Wow.
Yet again, this band goes the extra mile. I believe they really appreciates that their music really gets us through the very best and the very worst of times.
I'm sure I can speak for everyone here on the Unified Scene in wishing Paul all the very best in his rehabilitation and recovery.
Good luck and best wishes
Stay Positive.
PS Sorry I can't help with a clip of Stay Posi. I didn't make the show - at Bristol Wednesday - maybe someone here can help??

I was lucky enough to meet you,Andrew - and Paul - after the gig in Manchester (wearing my beer stained Minnesota Vikings shirt)- lovely people.
I did not know the story and was metaphorically picking my jaw off the floor.
It is totally inspiring stuff - hope that all goes well.
Very best.
